Overview

Cove UK is a UK-based company that owns and manages holiday parks and residential communities nationwide. Their mission is clear: to deliver a lifestyle that guests and residents love. As part of this commitment, Cove continually looks for ways to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the guest experience through smart technology.

Our Challenge

Cove already used Paxton’s Net2 access control system across their holiday parks, alongside Elite Parks, a dedicated management platform for holiday and residential parks. However, a key operational issue persisted.

Cove UK team had to input guest data into both systems manually—first into Elite Parks, then again into Net2. This duplication was time-consuming, error-prone, and inefficient. Seeking to streamline this process, Cove approached us following a recommendation from Paxton with a clear goal: automate the data flow between Elite Parks and Net2.

As an official Paxton integration partner, our role was to design and implement a seamless connection between Cove’s systems, eliminating the need for duplicate data entry and enhancing day-to-day operations.

The Method

Our Solutions

We developed a bespoke middleware solution hosted within Cove’s Azure infrastructure. This middleware served as a bridge between Elite Parks and Net2, built with the following core functionalities:

Automated Synchronisation - The middleware retrieves guest data from Elite Parks, transforms and maps it to match Net2’s format, and then pushes it into Net2 on a scheduled basis.

Background Service - Designed as a background job, the middleware operates continuously, ensuring that guest data is always current without manual input.

Reporting Feature - Cove requested a reporting mechanism during the discovery phase. We delivered a daily CSV report of all active guests registered in Net2. This report is securely transferred to a dedicated FTP server daily, enabling better planning and visibility.

Success story

This integration allowed Cove to reduce manual work, eliminate double data entry, and streamline operations. Now, guest information only needs to be entered once into Elite Parks - our middleware takes care of the rest. The daily guest report has further empowered Cove’s management team to forecast bookings more effectively and improve overall park planning.
